Choose your winter adventure!
Here are a few adventure ideas that might interest you around Radium and through the Columbia Valley.
Snowshoeing
You could take your snowshoes up to the gate on the way to Redstreak Campground in KNP (virtually in Radium), or head into KNP with a trail guide brochure to use a marked trail, or get really adventurous and head into the back country on the west side of the valley.
Our opinion, snowshoes are for where you cannot otherwise walk because the snow is too deep, but do what you're comfortable with, we don't judge.
Ice Skating
Want to keep it close to Radium? There's an outdoor rink 2 blocks from us.
Want to take it to the next level? Head to Invermere and get on the Whiteway, the World's Record for an ice skating trail on the lake with almost 30Km of trail if it's fully cleared. Make sure it's open by checking the link below. A $5 trail fee per person is required at the trailhead (it's money well spent).
Fat Biking
There are no groomed fat bike trails in Radium, but you can give 2 options a shot. The Sinclair Creek Trail, 3.5Km and well used so it's likely going to be packed down, and the Old Coach Trail, 18Km return but less travelled in winter so no promises on how far you might get.

Snow Tubing
Everyone tends to take our tubes to the Village central park, located about 2 blocks from our HQ, where there are plenty of slopes to slide down.
Consider picking up your tubes already dressed for the outdoors, and you can walk to the park and walk back. Afterwards, a hot drink at Screamers next door to us really hits the spot!

We're on a mission to make it simple and convenient to get you into the great wide open! Pick up snowshoe, ice skate and snow tube rentals at our location right in Radium. Day rentals and hourly rentals available in-store, first-come first-served. Advance bookings taken for day rentals only, advance bookings are non-refundable.

All participants (users of rented items) must be present at the time of pickup to complete their waiver, those under age 19 will require the additional signature of a parent/guardian.
