Head of Customer "Wow”

$17-$19/hour

Seasonal May-September

Part-Time to Full-Time Hours

We need help in-store from someone who can be on the front line, keep the house in order and lend a hand to other team members when called for.

If you are a person with …

  • the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting quickly to changing priorities and conditions,

  • the ability to build relationships with customers, with strong customer service and sales abilities,

  • exceptional written and verbal communication,

  • computer skills and can use web-based POS and booking platforms, experience in social media promotion is a bonus,

  • strong administrative skills with a focus on maintaining an organized and efficient work environment,

  • the ability to work independently,

  • the ability to build a personal knowledge of the area and recreational activities, or already have one,

  • the ability to show initiative during the quieter times,

  • excellent teamwork skills and a fun and friendly attitude.

And you can …

  • create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers, ensuring the customer takes priority and answering any questions they have,

  • embrace the customers’ excitement (or nervousness!) about their choice in activity, talking to them to determine the suitability of an activity to them and their equipment requirements,

  • answer phone calls and emails regarding rentals, tours & activities, retail sales,

  • take payments for bookings and retail sales whilst ensuring daily balances are correct,

  • book outdoor recreation rentals and tours with a web-based platform,

  • check customers in for rentals & tours; ensure liability waivers are completed,

  • send out outdoor recreation rental equipment; inspect condition and safety features, orient customers on the use of equipment, offer advice on where to go and what to see,

  • assist guests and other Team members with loading and unloading of equipment,

  • maintain consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards,

  • monitor and report on stock levels,

  • adhere to operating, security and health and safety procedures,

  • co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required,

  • assist in coordinating scheduling and resources.

Shuttle Pilot

$18-$20/hour

Seasonal July-August

6-30 hours per week

Here’s the perfect opportunity for someone with their Class 4, 2 or 1 drivers license.  Come onboard as a driver for our shuttle & delivery vehicles, moving equipment & customers around the Columbia Valley.  It’s a bit of driving, a bit of organization, a bit of lifting and a great way to make some money while enjoying what you’re doing!

If you are a person with …

  • a Class 4, 2 or 1 drivers license and a clean driving record,

  • the ability to lift at least 50 pounds,

  • the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting quickly to changing priorities and conditions,

  • the ability to build relationships with customers, with strong customer service abilities,

  • focus on maintaining an organized and efficient work environment,

  • the ability to work independently,

  • the ability to build a personal knowledge of the area and recreational activities, or already have one,

  • the ability to show initiative during the quieter times,

  • excellent teamwork skills and a fun and friendly attitude.

And you are a person who can …

  • create a welcoming environment by greeting all customers, ensuring the customer takes priority and answering any questions they have,

Event Roadies

$17-$19/hour

Seasonal May-September

Shifts vary

Sometimes we need an extra hand when setting up or tearing down a special event, if you don’t mind a bit of physical labour this is a great way to earn some extra money!  Transportation is provided, departing from our storefront in Radium.

If you are a person with …

  • the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adjusting quickly to changing priorities,

  • the ability to lift 50+ pounds, at times over your head,

  • your own steel toed footwear,

  • the ability to learn practices & procedures,

  • the ability to work independently,

  • excellent teamwork skills and a fun and friendly attitude.

And you can …

  • be prompt for shifts when scheduled,

  • be available Thursday – Monday (number of days varies week to week),

  • keep up the pace rain or shine, the weather doesn’t always cooperate,
